How many of you can see the hypocrisy in our nation and know, deep down, that things are not as they seem?

Why is it ok for football fans to crush in next to each other with nary a scrap of fabric over their faces while (hold up, wa-ait) our children are still forced to cover their noses and mouths every day at school?

How many of you can see that there is a thing behind the thing? I’m not minimizing the you-know-what. I’ve seen far too many families devastated from it, and my heart breaks for them. What I am also not prepared to minimize is the appalling, one-size-fits-all, get-on-board-or-get-run-over response to this crisis. Especially when there have always cheap, effective, readily-available alternatives with minute risk-factors waiting in the wings. But no, it’s RemDeathIsNear or the highway with these people, and you can just go ahead and die if you won’t do what we say. Why???

It’s control. It’s always been about control.

People in lofty positions are taking advantage of a devastating situation to manufacture a complete, unquestioning dependence on them to “save” us. If they themselves followed their own edicts, or if the “science” didn’t change from one day to the next, maybe we’d have a reason to trust them.

I can’t find one.

The problem is (besides, you know, all the death and destruction) is that their grab for power and complete control of the people will not end once this crisis is over. They will find something else to inspire fear in the hearts of their subjects, and once again, we will give them far more say in our lives than we ever should have in the first place.

What will it be? Climate change? I’m already seeing a handy-dandy “fact-checker” tag for “climate science” on social media.

I’m not sure what the angle will be. I just know there will be one.

I don’t want to believe this is true of leaders in our country, still the greatest nation on earth. But we’ve kicked God to the curb, and without God, mens’ hearts grow foolish and corrupt, especially when you elevate them to positions of authority.

We need to return to the LORD. We need to be on our knees, seeking his wisdom, protection, and mercy. We need to repent. And then, we need to start questioning all the nonsense and we need to stop blindly going along with it. We need to protect our children. Because if we don’t stand up now, it’s game over for freedom.
