When You Know, You No

A small departure from the normal jokey jokes.

Back to business as usual next time, but I felt this needed to be said.

I really feel like giving up on humanity sometimes.

It is gut-wrenching to see the absolute disconnect from reality our society has when it comes to social and moral issues.

Not only secular society.

People who claim to be Christians.

It is sickening enough to see pictures of women smiling from ear to ear, celebrating expanded abortion “rights”: literally rejoicing, clapping, and cheering for the ability to legally slaughter their own children. What really gets me is “Christians” supporting the poisoning, dismemberment, and decapitation of babies in the womb. I’ve seen them “heart” posts about it.

It’s not only children in the womb, either. The Karens of the world have now decided to rally around a woman who systematically murdered her three young children.

We back evil at all stages. Surely it’s inhumane to make a mass-murderer pay with his life for gunning down 14 innocent people!

Apparently as long as you don’t harm an eagle egg, you’re good to do whatever you need to do.

Make it make sense.

Can we have compassion for people in hard situations? Yes.

Do perpetrators also need to face swift and severe justice for their crimes? Absolutely.

Let me make a distinction, here, because God does. Death resulting from war or self-defense is tragic, but it isn’t murder.

Killing an innocent person is murder.

Let me say something (ridiculously) controversial:

Murderers don’t deserve our love, support, and protection.

Their victims do.

Let’s be real: the Republican party is flawed, and you may loathe the people in office, but leftist policies codify evils that directly defy the word of God.

There’s no way around it.

This is an honest question:

Does hate for those in office really supersede the God-given responsibility to protect innocent people from wickedness?

Enough that you’ll vote for candidates who let rapists and repeat, violent offenders go free?

Enough that you’ll vote in someone who thinks it should be legal to let a newly born baby (read: failed abortion) die alone on a cold table, denied life-saving measures, just because its mother doesn’t want it?

Enough that you’ll back policies that protect offenders and equate to the heck with the safety of law-abiding citizens?

This is not empathy and compassion.

It’s lunacy.

It’s evil.

There are some really important amendments on the ballot in November.

We have to put our personal feelings aside and vote in a way that protects our citizens.

Especially our children.
